Iloilo City, 2007

Back to Iloilo on December 12-15, 2007 for the Training on Scriptwriting for the eSkwela Project of the CICT. The training venue was the Western Visayas College of Science and Technology in La Paz but we were housed at Highway 21 Hotel. We were warmly welcomed on our first night with a seafood dinner in a romantic garden setting. Our Ilonggo friends were so thoughtful and accommodating.
When you're in Iloilo, you have to eat the authentic la paz batchoy. After our session on the second day, we tried Ted's, and the following day, it was Deco's. And what's the better tasting batchoy? Ted's was unanimously voted by our group. After that, no more batchoy, please? :) On our last training day, we toured the city and visited the Jaro and Molo churches and the city museum. We also had a glimpse of the houses of famous Ilonggo personalities. Of course, we bought the best biscocho from Tibiao bakery and other famous pasalubong Iloilo is noted for.
