New Eyes

I got my latest pair of eyeglasses last September 2015. This is my sixth pair since I started wearing eyeglasses when I turned 40.

My vision is no longer 20/20 but in 2016, I pray that I will have eyes that:

will truly appreciate God's blessings to me and my loved ones each day;
discern what matters most;
spot a person in need and be of help;
see the positive side in every situation; and
witness the awesome beauty of God's creations.

They say that we are just like passing ships. Wherever we go and drop anchor, we learn something that makes our lives never the same again.

Life may have brought us disappointments, failures, discouragements, broken hearts and other negative thoughts and emotions but life goes on.

Along the way, we meet people who touch our lives one way or the other. Some become true friends. Most of them just acquaintances.

We are here in this world temporarily. We are not yet home.

Whatever happens, the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. He always knows what's best for us.
