On May 15, 2007, we drove from Chula Vista to Los Angeles and from our hotel, my sister's former classmates who were based in LA brought us to Sta. Monica.
Sta. Monica is a coastal city in western California fronting the Pacific Ocean. We went to the beach and pier and I noticed the long stretch of shoreline. During summer, the space was full of beachcombers.
Then we ate dinner in the pier at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant, one of the chain of seafood restaurants inspired by the movie Forrest Gump. Yummy seafood in big servings! I had my remaining scampi wrapped for breakfast.
