Chula Vista, California

Chula Vista is a big city in Southern California. Tita Nada (my mother's first cousin) and her family live in their newly built house in a new community where the houses look the same. At night from the bedroom upstairs, I could see the glare from the border lights. The place is about 15 miles away from the international border between the US and Mexico.

One afternoon, we watched a baseball game of my cousin. The game was popular among kids in the area. Of course, the parents were there to provide support. The occasion was also like a picnic as some brought their picnic baskets with them and enjoyed their meals while watching the game.
