Brigada Eskwela in Gingoog City

Brigada Eskwela is observed nationwide from May 18-22 in preparation for the school opening in June. Bobby, Cyril, Gang (Bobby's niece), and I joined the other volunteers, mostly parents and LGU officials, at the Dona Josefa P. Reyes Elementary School in San Luis, Gingoog City where Nang Letty (Bobby's eldest sister) is the shool principal.

We see to it that we visit Bobby's siblings in Mindanao at least once every four years. Year 2009 is our family's "leap year". As early as February, we booked our flights to avail of the promo fares of Cebu Pacific. This year, however, Amyel was not with us because of her summer classes at UP Los Banos.

Thanks to She for inviting us to her wedding at Balite Resort. Bobby and I got lost looking for the site along the Amadeo-General Trias Road. It was such a surprise to discover an area where you can relax and commune with nature.
