Natividad Farms, Mendez, Cavite

On August 21, I joined the STARRDEC team and the farmers (MS) of the consortium on a visit to various farms in Cavite. Our first stop was Natividad Farms which is noted for its commercial-scale organic farming. Mr. Fajardo himself demonstrated to us their techniques and practices and guided us to the vermicomposting areas, nurseries, grow-out plots, and the other features of the farm. I was truly touched by Mr. Fajardo's discipline, dedication, and love for organic farming.
